Data Storage and Security

Where We Store Data

Your data is stored securely in our database hosted by Supabase (a PostgreSQL database service). OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption.

  • Secure OAuth 2.0 authentication flows
  • Regular security updates and patches
  • Access controls and authentication requirements
  • Monitoring for suspicious activity

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically:

  • Cached sync data - Stored for 7 days, then automatically deleted
  • Sync activity logs - Retained for 90 days for troubleshooting
  • Account information - Retained until you uninstall the app or request deletion

When you uninstall ShopSheets, we delete your OAuth tokens and stop accessing your Shopify and Google data. Cached data is deleted within 7 days. Account records may be retained for up to 30 days for billing reconciliation.
