About this tool
The CSV deduplicator removes duplicate rows based on a key column you choose. Upload a file, pick the column that should be unique such as SKU, handle, or email, and the tool keeps the first occurrence and drops the rest.
Merged supplier feeds and repeated exports often carry the same product twice. Duplicate handles or SKUs cause errors on Shopify import, so clearing them first saves a failed upload. Files are processed locally in your browser.

Frequently asked questions
- How does it decide which duplicate to keep?
- It keeps the first row for each key value and discards later ones. Sort your file first if you want a specific version to win.
- Can I dedupe on more than one column?
- Pick the single column that best identifies a unique row. For products that is usually the Handle or SKU. Not sure which columns your file has? Open it in the CSV Column Selector first, then combine the fields you need into one column.
- Does it change rows that are not duplicates?
- No. Unique rows pass through unchanged. Only repeated key values are removed.
